The Very Best of South Beach Dining

The Clay Hotel happens to be located on Española Way - known as Historic Spanish Village - a premier dining destination has restaurants with flavors from all over the world. From authentic Cuban to Mexican, from new, hip, eclectic to Italian, French and Peruvian - we have it all!!!!!!

Here are some of our favorites:

A La Folie – nestled at the end of beautiful Española Way, A La Folie provides a window to Europe in a unique Miami Beach setting. With a dark wood motif reminiscent of a small Parisian hideaway, A La Folie provides ample ambience complete with a delicious menu of authentic and affordable French fare.  The patio, which is brimming with tea lights, candles, lamps, and lush shrubbery, is an intimate spot for a first date, anniversary, or even a group gathering. After dinner, indulge in sweet crepes with fresh fruit, ice cream, and chocolate, among other classics.

Tapas y Tintos – On the beautiful Spanish-style Española Way, Tapas y Tintos is a fantastic tapas place at brilliant prices. Rated "The Best Spanish Restaurant on South Beach" by multiple magazines and even AOL! It has a different theme of music, dancing, and drinks for every day of the week. Check out Monday nights for tango, Tuesday for salsa, and Sunday for flamenco.  And definitely don't miss the all-partying Saturday night: Spanish night, with DJs.

Oh! Mexico – The makings of everything you love about Mexican food is here: beef, chicken and chorizo tacos, homemade guacamole and every other dish on the menu.  Constantly changing restaurant menu and decor - is what the great about this place. Extensive variety of tequilas, frozen or on the rocks margaritas - which will leave you wanting more. And most importantly - restaurants great service!!!!

Milani Gelateria - Autentico Gelato Italiano. That is what people say about this place: "Italian was in the air and everywhere, people smiled and licked . It was like a Fellini movie" nothing more and nothing less...

The Watchdog Bistro -The Watchdog Bistro is an American pub offering comfort food with out South Beach prices. We are conveniently located in the “Art Deco District” inside the Clay Hotel near the corner of Espanola Way on Washington Ave. We offer drink specials and carry a vast collection of domestic, international and craft beers, a full bar for cocktails and of course wine. Delicious - Paninis and Salads

Havana 1957 -   a new restaurant on the corner of Española Way, which combines the flavors of traditional Cuban cuisine with the enchantment and sophistication of Havana in the 1950's. With elegant Art Deco touches, the interior decor of Havana 1957 embodies the jet set lifestyle of the movie starts that made Havana their playground. One of the most outstanding features of the restaurant is the classic Cuban Rum bar, which stocks over 70 varieties of rum from around the world. Here people can enjoy Cuba Libre or a Mojito cocktail in a sophisticated ambiance, surrounded by vintage Cuban memorabilia without leaving Miami Beach.

Pizza N Shake -  Pizzanshake is a new concept offering you  a simple way to enjoy pizza, shake, sandwich, salad, smoothie. Grab a slice on your way back from the beach or the club. Mojitos Lounge - A smaller extension of the neighboring Café Nuvo. The room is filled with red hues and candlelight, reflecting off metal-and-brick-accented walls that showcase maps and iconic sepia-tinted photos. It seems patrons are free to write on the walls with a Sharpie, adding a slight edge to the space. The bar features more than a dozen unique options in addition to mojitos.

Cafe Nuvo -  The menu is eclectic - perfect to please large groups and people with food ADD. Everyone should be able to find a dish to their liking -- from mussels Española, made with garlic and white wine, to an aged skirt steak with fresh baby greens . Choose from over a dozen different mojitos made with Bacardi rum, served with a sugarcane swizzle.
