I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!

I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!

August 06, 2018

Temperatures are soaring, but that’s doesn’t mean you have to sweat. Time to cool off with sweet artisanal ice creams. One scoop, two scoops, three scoops, yay.

The Frieze

Nestled on a side street off of historic Lincoln Road, this gem has been serving pleased patrons for 22 years. Using only the freshest ingredients, none of their ice creams or sorbets use artificial colors, preservatives, or additives. In short, the strawberry ice cream tastes like strawberries and the Pink Champagne Sorbet tastes like sorbet.

Latteria Italiana

It’s the 1950’s in Rome and it is hot. Imagine the taste of freshly churned gelato flavors such as stracciatella and nocciola, while the burning Italian sun hits the surface of a Roman fountain. Now transport to modern day. This Latteria features all of the traditional charms while walking the line of modernity. Try the ginger, pineapple, and Mediterraneo (hazelnut, toasted almonds, pistachio, sesame, and black fig) flavors for an experience so rich, you’ll think you stepped off the plane into Italy.

Azucar

You can order a flan at a Cuban restaurant, or you can experience Cuban culture through the robust flavors of passion fruit, mamey, flan, and many more. Located on spicy Calle Ocho, cruise by this ice cream shop for scoops so good, you may dance salsa.
