Let The Perez Art Museum Miami & Vizcaya Light Up Your Vacation

Let The Perez Art Museum Miami & Vizcaya Light Up Your Vacation

February 05, 2017

We’re thrilled you’re interested in exploring these top tourist attractions. Miami Beach is full of dynamic culture, however the rest of the city also has places worth visiting. Whether you’re a single person, a family, a yuppie, hipster, or aristocrat, you are sure to enjoy these adventures.

Located in downtown Miami, this newcomer is quintessentially the most important stop for the contemporary art minded. Highlighting the 21st century generation of work, this museum embodies the latin spirit of Miami. However, the art is not limited to the interior of the museum--after checking out the galleries step outside to explore the hanging gardens by French botanist Patrick Blanc. Meander to Verde, the chic waterfront eatery for a rewarding meal. Always a crowd pleaser, we suggest the Shrimp & Mahi Ceviche that pairs perfectly with a bay breeze and a craft beer from local breweries.

If you are craving old-world class, visit Vizcaya, a 34-room mansion built by James Deering in the 1920‘s. The European-style gardens are decorated with fountains, hidden nooks, and an allure of wealth and history. It is the best place to snap a surreal photo of the Miami sunset against the unusual and stunning backdrop of a Venetian-style breakwater.
